    DSC-ről egy kis info:

You should look into the studies made on how many people notice the visual artifacts of DSC. In fact the standard itself which is ISO/IEC 29170 (sadly behind a paywall to view the full details?) already gives a pass when observers cannot distinguish between the original and compressed image in more than 75% of trials. Meaning that up to a full quarter of people can tell a difference. As you can see the standards of this standard are very low and I'd challenge the claim of "visually lossless".

After switching back and forth between DP 1.4 with DSC and HDMI 2.1 without DSC on a 4k 160 Hz monitor (4k 144hz with HDMI), with all other settings equal, I'm pretty confident that I can tell the difference most of the time. DSC tends to sharpen the edges of geometry giving the illusion of detail while no DSC has a slightly softer but more detailed less shimmering look to it. I'm still baffled how nobody talks about this let alone noticed it. Sure you have to look for it and if the DSC "look" is all you've ever seen then you don't really know what kind of impact it has on the image. Even myself used the monitor with DSC for like half a year until I decided to do the comparison (another reason was to finally get rid of those stupid artificial limitations from Nvidia of not allowing DL(DSR), custom resolutions and integer scaling) but once you see the differences you can't unsee them.
