    Hardware Unboxed:
    - Asus told us they were EOL their RTX 5070 Ti range due to supply issues.
    - We didn’t say Nvidia was EOL the RTX 5070 Ti, but rather they were effectively killing it by limiting supply (which they have done and continue to do).
    - If you bought an RTX 5070 Ti when our video went live, you bought at the best time since then, prices have not improved.
    - Pricing isn’t high due to demand, RTX 5070 Ti sales have been very poor with extremely low demand. Locally retailers are selling 80% more 9070 XT’s than they are 5070 Ti’s and have been for months. The current US Amazon top GPU seller list has 9070 XT models in 5th, 6th and 9th while the first 5070 Ti doesn’t appear until 12th spot. Mindfactory sold 150% more 9070 XT’s in week 12.
    - The evidence is clear, priced at least 33% above MSRP people are not interested in the 5070 Ti which is why stock remains.
    - It’s a very damaging narrative for consumers to pretend that the 5070 Ti is in good supply and high demand, the opposite is true!

This was obviously a case of Asus saying the quiet part out loud, Nvidia getting mad and telling them to fix it. Nvidia doesn’t want GeFroce gamers knowing they’re getting shafted, plain and simple.
It’s also worth noting that the official Asus response after walking back statements to us was that Asus is “streamlining some models based on these chipsets due to the current GPU supply constraints”. Now 2 months later we still can’t confirm with Asus which models have been EOL to streamline their offerings.
