  IT SUPPORTER POSITION

  We are looking for IT SUPPORTER person for river ships.
  Main tasks:
  - Solving ships internal basic IT issues in cooperation with the direct manager (e.g. reinstalling PCs, reinstalling Software, installing drivers, checking backups, cleaning PCs after virus infection, etc)
  - Give on place assistance / education to the ships crew as well in a limited scope if necessary to guests
  - Cooperation / assistance in different fleet wide projects (e.g. maintenance of IT infrastructure on ships during winter break)
  - Technical deputy for the IT Manager in the Head Office during his absences.

  Job specification:
  - Education
  o IT apprenticeship or similar
  o MCSA / MCP / …

  - Experience
  o Supporting a heterogeneous Windows XP / Windows 7 environment in all its facets
  o Windows 2003 / 2008 Servers
  o Modern multimedia solutions (movie streaming, sound, etc) on vessels
  o Experience in supporting various different hardware devices or peripherals like special printers, Desko keyboards, etc.
  o General hardware / software and systems knowledge in hotel / cruising environments

  - Languages
  o Must: fluent reading / speaking in English
  o Desirable: German and any other language

  - Special / spezial skills
  o Knowledge of specific hard- and software solutions as Fidelio Cruise, Hotek, Nonius

  - Specific character traits
  o Service oriented, preppy appearance, able and willing to work in a six star environment
  o Communicative.
