"A Broadwell Chip, an i7 5775C, has been shown at 5GHz on Air Cooling, at 1.419V, and running vPrime at 4.8GHz. The wPrime 32M test was completed in 4.399 seconds, which when compared to our i7 4790K, which also ran at 4.8GHz and did that same test in 5.569 seconds, shows that Broadwell does offer some IPC improvements over Haswell. However we will need to confirm this with our own independent testing when this chip eventually makes it's way to market. "
