"That sounds like a PSU problem. I do realize, before you start defending your PSU like a tiger would its' cub, that it has a lot of watts. The meat of the matter is how many +12v rails does it have and does the rail that's powering your video card have enough amps for the card? The video card should have a minimum required amps printed on the side of the box. How does this compare to the PSU's +12v rail ampere rating?
Also, is the PSU incompatible with the video card? Probably not, but this is one more tyhing to research."
