Redmi Note 6 Pro Android 9 Pie update
Pie expected in Q1 2019 
The Redmi Note 6 Pro, being a budget phone, comes preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 9 on top. Of course, an update to Android 9 Pie is guaranteed, but when exactly this will happen remains anyone’s guess.
From our knowledge of how Xiaomi updates work, though, the Note 6 Pro should get a slice of Pie in Q1 2019.
