  1. Download and then install the LG Mobile Driver from here and the Visual C++ Runtime Libraries (VCRedistInstaller) from here into your PC. In VCRedistInstaller, select all of the components (check-boxes) and press the Install button on page 3 of the installer.
  Note: Don't worry if VCRedistInstaller sometimes displays a popup message during installation saying that you have the latest version installed, because it will STILL install/update the other versions of Visual C++ Runtime Libraries.
  2. Reboot your PC.
  3. Download the LG Flash Tool from here and the v10c stock KDZ file for LG V10 H961N Dual SIM from here into your PC.
  4. Unzip the LG Flash Tool into the root directory of one of your hard drives/partitions (e. g., "C:") and copy the v10c stock KDZ file for LG V10 H961N Dual SIM that you downloaded in step 3 into the LG Flash Tool directory that you have just created (e. g., "C:\LG Flash Tool 2014").
  5. Activate download mode on your LG V10 Dual SIM device, plug one end of the USB cable into your LG V10 Dual SIM device and the other end directly (no hubs or extensions) into one of your PC's motherboard's free back panel USB ports (they are usually in the back of the PC case, depending on the PC case) or into one of your notebook's/laptop's free USB ports.
  Note: USB 3.0 ports will NOT work with this method! You need to use USB 2.0 ports only!
  6. Launch LGFlashTool2014.exe in Administrator mode (right click on LGFlashTool2014.exe > Run as administrator). If you're on Windows 8 or later, run the LGFlashTool2014.exe in both Administrator AND Windows 7 compatibility mode (right click on LGFlashTool2014.exe > Properties > Compatibility tab).
  7. Set "Select KDZ file" to the v10c stock KDZ file for LG V10 H961N Dual SIM that you downloaded in step 3, set "Select Type" to CDMA, set "PhoneMode" to DIAG.
  8. Press the "CSE Flash" button.
  9. Press START in the "Read Phone Information" window (ignore everything else: DO NOT PRESS the tempting "Read Phone Information" button, otherwise the LG Flash Tool may crash!).
  10. Press OK in the "Select Country & Language" window (ignore everything else: DO NOT CHANGE ANY SETTINGS!).
  11. Wait for the flashing process to complete.
  Note: If you get a "Connection to Server failed. Try again in a moment." error during the flashing process, DO NOT PRESS OK! Move the error dialog box to the side of your desktop, so you can see the LG Mobile Support Tool window while your device flashes. The flashing process can take up to 30 minutes on some systems (especially Windows 8 and later), so don't worry if the LG Mobile Support Tool does not seem to be doing anything for a very long time! It's flashing your device silently.
  12. Done!
