Nagyjából egy időben indultak az In Flames-el, ők talán a másik banda aki a Melodic Death (vagy hívjuk akárminek) alapjait lefektették. Nekik is változott a stílusuk az évek alatt de az In Flames-el ellentétben nem gyökeresen.

S ha már öreganyádnak szólítottál, doom/death témában meg talán összességében is egyik kedvenc albumomról, Catherine Blake -- kicsit lassan indul be, de utána...

Beírom már ide is az idei toplistámat, hátha érdekel valakit.

1) Beyond Creation - Earthborn Evolution (11/10)
Az idei év abszolút győztese, legnagyobb meglepetése. Vártam őket, mint minden idén megjelenő albumot, de nem gondoltam volna, hogy ilyen kellemeset fogok csalódni. Megjelenése után legalább egy hónapig szinte csak ezt hallgattam, annyira nem tudtam betelni vele.

2) Septicflesh - Titan (9,5/10)
Hozták a tőlük elvárt szintet, egy kicsivel talán többet is. Nagyon igényesen összerakott anyag lett a Titan, kitettek magukért a görög istenek (:D), ráadásul a szimfonikus betéteket egy külön lemezen most is kiadták, ami nagy plusz pont számomra.

3) Revocation - Deathless (8/10)
Eleinte nagyon nem tetszett, de szép lassan kezdek megbarátkozni vele. Nem az a tipikus Revocation album, ám ez nem is jelenti azt, hogy rossz lenne, sőt. Szokni kell.

4) Decapitated - Blood Mantra (7,99/10)
Idén ismertem meg őket, más lemezüket még nem hallgattam, úgyhogy nem is nagyon tudok nyilatkozni róluk.

5) Behemoth - The Satanit (6/10)
Őket is idén, na jó, tavaly decemberben ismertem meg, az erről az albumról bemutatott Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel c. számmal. Nagyon tetszett, néhány hétig hallgattam, aztán meg is untam, pedig a külföldi toplistákon általában tophármas, de inkább topegyes.

Tegnap este összefutottam egy olyan műsorral a Spektrumon, hogy "A heavy metal története". Természetesen nem csak a heavy metalról szól, tegnap pont a numetal volt terítéken. Ami tetszett benne elsőre, hogy megszólaltatnak zenészeket is a nagyobb zenekarokból akik elmesélnek pár dolgot a saját szemszögükből (pl. Limp Bizkit Woodstock '99)...stb.

Szóval nézi valaki ezt a sorozatot? Meg amúgy összességében m a véleménye róla? Érdemes nézni?
