  1. Start at 9:20 PM IST.Power on your phone around this time.
  2. Sign out and sign back into your Xiaomi account:
  Go to Settings > Xiaomi Account.
  Sign out, then immediately sign in again.
  3. Enable OEM Unlocking:
  Go to Developer Options.
  Turn on OEM Unlocking.
  4. Set up VPN (choose one):
  Download Turbo VPN (or Power VPN, as EndarMan used) from the Play Store.
  Select United States – Washington server (choose low ms server if using Power VPN).
  Run the VPN in floating window mode.
  5. Install Mi Community (Clean state):
  Reinstall the Mi Community app (or clear app data if already installed).
  Open the app while connected to VPN.
  Login and navigate to the Unlock Bootloader section under settings.

  6. At 9:28–9:29 PM IST:
  Disconnect the VPN at 9:28-9:29 for reduce ping (while still inside the Mi Community app).
  Then click apply at exactly at 9:29:59 IST.
  Quickly go to Settings > Developer Options > Mi Unlock Status.

  Don’t click at 21:29:58 — it may not work.
