The WPA.DBL is the activated file for your PC & Hardware. It is unique to your machine so you don't have to worry about it being stolen or used anywhere else, It will only work on the machine you activated it on.
The benefit of backing this up to CD is that you can ''activate'' windows without actually needing to connect or telephone to Microsoft. This means you can re-install without having to worry about the limited times you can activate before calling a Microsoft representative

Note: To use the wpa.dbl file on a clean installation, boot to safe mode after installing Windows XP, copy the wpa.dbl file to the system32 folder (in this case C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32) and restart the system (in normal mode). You will be prompted to activate, click OK and you will see that its all activated if the file is still correct to the machine with the Windows XP license. (This method of activating is not supported by Microsoft, if it fails you will have to activate using the methods within Windows XP)

Tehát újratelepíted a Windowst, melyből előtte kimásoltad a WPA.DBL-t és vissza
