However, there is a workaround which will allow you to continue playing offline:
1. Open the game
2. See the error message: which includes buttons for "Open Network Settings" and "Exit"
3. Tap the "Open Network Settings" button
4. Once you're in the network settings window, tap the "back" arrow button to take you back to the game
5. The Game should load in offline mode with no issues.
