  2006 USGP TV Ratings on Speed Revealed

  Here are the TV ratings for the recent Speed telecast of the USGP at Laguna Seca, and the ratings for other Speed programming shown on the same day as the USGP.
  
  World Superbike: .12 (82,000 Households)
  
  AMA Superbike: .13 (85,000 Households)
  
  MotoGP: .20 (137,000 Households) -- peaked at .29 (195,000 Households) in the second hour
  
  AMA Formula Extreme: .20 (137,000 Households)
  
  The highest rated program on Speed for the day was NASCAR RaceDay; it averaged .72 (483,000 HH).
  
  Windtunnel, Two Guys Garage, Speednews and the NASCAR post-race show all pulled more viewers than the MotoGP telecast on Speed.
  
  Updated: Reader Chris Nugent sourced the numbers for the ABC network re-broadcast/highlights show. Over 1.1 million people watched as Kevin Schwantz wore a suit and looked momentarily like he might at a dreaded ''real job'' that telecast.
