Is Jon Snow Alive in the Game of Thrones Season 6 Trailer?

If you’ve watched the brand spanking new trailer for season 6 of Game of Thrones, you, like us feel hyped, anxious, happy and excited, all in one. The emotions have taken over and you can’t seem to focus on your day’s work…

Daenerys looks frightened, Cersei is about to get violent and Bran comes face to face with the Night’s King. But most importantly, Jon Snow appears dead…but then he doesn’t…

Confused? Bear with us for a moment…

The nearly-2 minute trailer includes a very heart-breaking clip of Jon Snow’s dead, bleeding body after getting stabbed by his brothers of the Night’s Watch.

As you can see, his body lies dead and his eyes are closed by an unknown hand. But before you start crying enough tears to flood the Narrow Sea, hear us out.

We’re not ready to give up on Jon Snow just yet. His story is certainly unfinished. That’s why we totally believe that this trailer is deceiving us. HBO really wants us to believe that Jon is gone, but we’re not having any of it…

Eagle-eyed fans have spotted Jon Snow, looking very much alive in the recent exciting trailer.

Is that really everyone’s favourite bastard riding a horse? Living? Breathing? Cut to 1:17 in the trailer, look closely and you might agree that it could very well be him.

Kit Harington was spotted filming, wearing similar gear in Belfast last year, after all. But then again, this particular clip could be a flashback scene.

What’s more? At the very end of the trailer, we see Jon’s corpse lying next to his dire wolf, Ghost. Standing next to him is Ser Davos who says “I’ve never been much of a fighter. Apologies for what you’re about to see,”, as he draws Jon’s sword, Longclaw.

Why is Ser Davos there? Is he protecting Jon’s body from those who want to burn it? Maybe he wants to take it to Melisandre so she can work her magic and resurrect him.

According to the one of the fan-theories we’ve listed about Jon Snow’s fate, this would make a lot of sense.

This is the most anxious we’ve ever been. We won’t stop having heart palpitations until we find out about Jon Snow’s fate. The time is near. Winter is coming. Game of Thrones returns to HBO on April 24th…

So lock up your daughter, lock up your wife, lock up your back door and run for your life
