Aha. Tehát a CPU eszik 60, a GPU 100 wattot, ami folyamatosban akár 370 is lehet. Hááát. Nem azt akarom mondani, hogy szar lenne az egész úgy ahogy van, csak nem jön ki a matek, illetve almát hasonlítunk a körtével, mert ég és föld a két architektúra, és nyilván az optimalizálás is. És ugye az A1-es GPU nem igazán jöttek közelébe egy PC-s GPU-nak, de az is tény, hogy a fogyasztás sem volt ugyanaz. Arra akarok csak kilyukadni, hogy bármennyire is hangoztatja, de nem találta még fel az Apple a perpetuum mobile-t.

Meg kell várni a review-kat. Nyilván okosan a preziben mac-hez hasonlították amikben 1-2-3 mittomén, hány gennel régebbi cucc van. De a GPU elvileg alázza a radeon 6900-at brutálisan, tehát ha a valóságban nem is akkora a különbség azért egy elég durva teljesítménypluszra lehet számítani. Mindez 370W-ban kicsi pici házban, nyilván nem olcsón, de ezen a szinten az x86-os PC megoldás se olcsó.
Ha a prezihez közeli szintet tényleg tudja a cucc, akkor nagyon össze kell szednie itt magát minden gyártónak, amiu jó hír mert így mi csak jobban járunk.

Az ultra az kb. 2db M1 MAx.
Amiket én olvastam/láttam M1, M1 max, M1 Pro teszteket, azok alapján volt köze a valósághoz a bemutatóan kivetített ábráknak, nem csak "katalógusadatok".
(Nekem sajnos Microsoft 365 alkalmazásokban nem jön ki a gyorsaság, az alkalmazások elmaradnak a Windows-os változattól, így még M1, M1 Pro gépekre se tudok váltani, hiába vennék olyanokat szívem szerint)

Az M1 Max-es Macbook Pro tesztekben (valós feladatokon) az M1 Max GPU erőben kb. az RTX3070 szintjét hozta és egyes speciális esetekben elérte az RTX3090-et (speciális eset pl. amikor a szűk keresztmetszetet a ProRes videó encode-decode jelenti, amire a Max-nak dedikált hardvere van).
Az M1 Ultra gyakorlatilag két összeragasztott M1 Max, innen nagyjából lehet következtetni, hogy kb. a dual 3070-es rendszerek teljesítményét fogja hozni, illetve azoknál valamivel többet, mivel a 128GB ram-ból kb. 120GB vramként is funkcionál (ha levonjuk a rendszer és a szoftver ram igényét), így a vram-igényes alkalmazásokban nem ütközik olyan hamar memória limitbe, mint a 8-11GB vramos grafkártyával szerelt PC-k.
Ami a fogyasztást illeti, az M1 Max csúcsra járatva 110W-ot fogyaszt, ezt megduplázva tehát az ultránál 220W lesz valószínűleg a maximum.
Ehhez képest egyetlen rtx 3070-nek 200W a csúcsfogyasztása.

Az Ultranál már 800GB/sec a memória sávszélessége. A két GPU transzparensen egynek látszik rendszerszinten. Az UltraFusion összeköttetés 2.5TB/sec sebességét még ha összeadva is vesszük akkor is 1.25TB/sec sávszél áll rendelkezésre egy irányban ami jelentősen meghaladja 1db GPU "belső" sávszélességét. Eddig ez még egy gpu gyártónak sem sikerült.

Én pedig nem a GPU sebességéről hanem a két GPU összekötéséről beszéltem. Itt az NV két GPU esetén 600GB/secre képes az UltraFusion sávszélessége 2.5TB/sec.
Nem játékplatform.

Azert az megvan, hogy ez egy unified architektura, es proci memszavszelessege is 800gb/s, es van benne 2 dedikalt encoder es 4 dekoder? Outofthebox os/sw tamogatassal, nem csak teoretikus flopsokkal? 4000 dollarert megkapod 64g rammal.
Lesznek olyan feladatkorok kreativoknak ahol konkretan alternativaja sincs igazan.
Az apple meglepte azt, amit mar egy ideje irogatok, hogy kellene egy igazan power soc egyket szaz wattig. A pcn meg eppen azzal vannak elfoglalva, hogy mennyibe keruljenek a 250 wattot kezelni tudo lapok, es hogyan bovitsek a tapkabeleket a 600 wattos gpukhoz. Koszi, de ez mar sok.

Az M1 Max tesztek az RTX 3070 szintjét hozták, annak pedig 448 GB/sec a memória sávszélessége. [link]
A játék teljesítmény meg teljesen irreleváns egy dedikáltan tartalomfejlesztésre szánt eszköznél.

Mac-et szerintem senki sem vesz játszani. Ha a legújabb pc-s játékokhoz akarnak gépet készíteni, szerintem te leszel az első akihez fordulnak ... vagy nem.
Az eddigiek alapján nagyon jól átgondolt az összes m1, és a piac is díjazza. Tavaly 22,5 millióról 29 millióra nőtt a leszállított mennyiség mac-ből.
A mac studio doboza kb. akkora, hogy egy hasonló teljesítményű pc tápja se férne el benne.

Nem volt szó "minden másnál gyorsabb" gpu-ról, hanem a többi laptop gpu teljesítményéhez hasonlították azonos fogyasztás mellett, ami ugye egy mobil SoC-nál alapvető szempont.

Kreatív munkaállomásba nem nagyon raknak több ramot, az átlag manapság a 64GB, csak pár éve kezdtek el átállni 128GB-ra, ráadásul a memória használat az architektúrának köszönhetően teljesen más a PC-hez képest, így kevesebb ramból is képes a rendszer közel azonos teljesítményt kihozni.
Szimulációkhoz, mérnöki és matematikai számításokhoz persze n+1 TB-ig is fel lehet menni, de az egy másik piac.
A 128GB ram pedig vram is egyben, a gpu intenzív alkalmazásoknál (ami a kreatív munkaállomásokban kritikus) pedig újabban az a szűk keresztmetszet, nem magában a system ram.

Mar ha ez konkurencianak nevezheto, mert teljesen mas celt szolgalo eszkozt mutattal teljesen mas arsavban. Es ha jol lattam, meg fizikai meretben is joval nagyobb. Kicsit olyannak hat ez az osszehasonlitas, mint amikor valaki azzal jon, hogy egy MacBook Pro araert milyen fasza gamer asztalit tud osszerakni es mennyire alazza le jatekban.
Ott, ahova ezt az Apple szanja gyakorlatilag nincs konkurenciaja. Vagy ami van, az is jo nagy lemaradasban. Ne haragudj, de ez most egy esz nelkuli Apple gyulolo frocsogesnek tunt.

A termék ugye egyértelműen munkagép, szóval inkább azt kérdezném, hogy az adott folyamatot (legyen az render, fordítás, stb) gyorsabban, csendesebben, kevesebb áramot bezabválva végzi-e el, mint bármi egyéb. A marketing azt mondja igen. Kíváncsi leszek mit mondanak a valós tapasztalatok (nem a benchmarkok, hanem a felhasználók). Egy biztos: a marketing szöveg alapján ígéretes termék.

Én is ezt szeretném megtudni. Alapvetően nem vagyok kibékülve az fűtésre használt CPUk, GPUk koncepciójával, ezért vagyok kíváncsi, hogy milyen teljesítményfelvétel mellett mi jön ki belőle - és ez az a pont, ahol a 370 watt első blikkre picit ijesztőnek tűnt.

A bővíthetőséggel kapcsolatban van előrelépés? Vagy ez is agyonforrasztott hardver, és előre meg kell venni, ha nekem a legjobb kell?
Azt láttam, hogy 1999$-nál indul, ami 64 GB memóriát, meg az M1 Max processzort tartalmazza? Mennyi SSD-vel?
Ez az ár nem is rossz, de ha a szokásos, garancia, és bővíthetőségi opciók vannak, akkor azért meggondolandó annak aki nem kifejezetten pontosan tudja mire akarja használni a gépét, ha ennyi pénzt kiad rá.

Az… macmini pro gyk uj nevvel. Amugy, de ennyiert nehez potensebb workstationt osszerakni gyari konfiggal adobe csomagokra, videoszerkesztesre, etc. A bovithetoseg kutyat nem erdekel, vesz egy masikat ha mar keves, mint a telefonnal, laptopnal, stb.

Mármint ki mutogatta? Az Apple vagy youtuberek?

Ezt nem a Mac Pro kiváltására tervezték, hanem egy köztes kreatív workstation, nagyjából az iMac Pro szintje. Oda is van árazva.

Persze itt ugye a kiemelt reszen van a hangsuly, nem raszter teljresitmenyen.
Az is erdekes, hogy a 12900k-hoz viszonyitottak a fogyasztas diat, de a turbo 241W fogyasztast vehettek alapul, ugy jon ki a -100W kulonbseg (140W), mert 125W base-nel ez 25W-os M1 ultra fogyasztast eredmenyezne, ami valljuk be kb lehetetlen.

A "már egyszer eljátszották" legfeljebb a Macbook Pro-ba szánt M1 Max esetén történhetett, azt pedig nem a desktop, hanem a laptop gpu-khoz mérték.
Az általad linkelt footnote viszont a Mac Studio-ról és az M1 Ultra-ról szól, ami értelem szerűen desktop kategória, tehát ahhoz is kell viszonyítani.
Ami a fogyasztást illeti: mivel nyilván az 12900k turbó teljesítményét vetették össze az M1 Ultráéval (aminek nincs turbo módja), így értelem szerűen az ahhoz szükséges fogyasztást mérték.
