Anker calls their smart circuitry PowerIQ. Drew Addington, a product manager at Anker, told us that it’s a “able to detect what type of device is connected to the charging port and then emulate the USB signals that the connected device looks [at], to determine whether or not to draw a full speed charge.” In simpler terms, it’s a universal translator for gadget power. Addington says that the company updates the PowerIQ chip “regularly” for new product releases.

PowerIQ is not the only smart chip of its kind. Texas Instruments makes off-the-shelf chips that anyone can add to battery packs.

A csepptöltés az trickle charging angolul, de nem igazán találni infot róla, hogy melyik kütyü tudja. A 10400-as Xiaomi biztosan nem. A gagyi cuccok sem, mert a lítiumos aksi könnyen szétmegy a túltöltéstől, szóval csak profi cuccal lehet ilyesmit csinálni. Az Anker nem tudom, hogy tud e ilyesmit.
